Celebration Galore at Igbobi College, Yaba on friday 6th March, 2026 as we welcomed the athletes and footballers who represented the school at the just concluded LASMAB Games and St Finbars’ 70th Founder’s Day Competition.
The Principal of the College, the Ven Joseph Oyewale Adediji who officially received the Trophies and Medals from the school Technical Director, Mr Olanrewaju Ayeni at the event, in his speech appreciated the coaches, athletes, footballers and basketballers for making the school proud by bringing home 16 gold, 13 silver and 5 bronze from the field events, football and basketball competitions. He later presented cash gifts alongside letters of commendation to the players and coaches. He encouraged them to always give their best whenever they have the opportunity to represent their Alma Mata whilst they ensure their studies doesn’t suffer for it. Other prizes were also presented to deserving students at the party. All attendees were being treated to a sumptuous meal amidst fanfare.
